-A former Catelli pasta factory, located at the confluence of Petite-Patrie, Mile-End and Little Italy (in Montreal, Canada), has become over the years a refuge for many renowned artists, an important place of creation for Montreal's contemporary painting. Chance encounters, proximity and exchanges enriched their respective work. But real estate speculation has caused the eviction of artists from their studios, making their practice more precarious. Struggling to create, creating to struggle: this documentary opens the door to these inspiring places, which will soon be no more. A journey into the spirit of creation - despite everything.
