Karmavirayan (2024)

Synopsis- A rebel at an early age, he raises his voice against the dominant caste system in India. After facing extremely compelling turbulent times in personal and professional life, he leaves home to dedicate his life for social work. He starts boarding schools for the deprived classes. Highly inspired by Gandhian ideologies, he gives up his aristocratic attire for lifetime. With the garment of simplicity, he treads the corners of Maharashtra barefoot to collect donations for free boarding houses for the poor. A school dropout, the pioneer of rural education, the founder of Rayat Education Society, the brainchild behind 'earn and learn' ideology, Doctorate in Literature, Padmabhushan Awardee, the visionary- Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil (1887-1959) who empowers the peasants with plough in one hand and pen in the other is the hero of the biopic.
