Shih-Ching Tsou is a director and producer known for her frequent collaborations with filmmaker Sean Baker. Together they co-directed “Take Out” (2004), and she went on to work on Baker’s movies “Starlet” (2012) and “Tangerine” (2015), both of which she helped produce and did the costume design for. She is credited as a producer with a cameo role in the critically acclaimed movie “The Florida Project” (2017), and she went on to produce “Red Rocket” (2021). Shih-Ching Tsou made her directorial debut with the movie “Left-Handed Girl” (2025), a movie she co-wrote with Baker that premiered at the Cannes Film Festival 2025.
