John Monteleone: The Chisels Are Calling (2021)

This feature-length music bio documentary profiles the legendary guitar builder John Monteleone. The film follows the self-taught craftsman from his beginnings taking apart and fixing instruments as a child to his success as a sought after master builder and a living artist on permanent exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Monteleone's instruments are known not only for their incomparable sound, but also for their visually striking and innovative designs.
