The series follows Alessandro, a young and idealistic intern who joins the production team of Gli occhi del cuore 2. Eager to make his mark, Alessandro quickly realizes that the world of television is far from glamorous. He encounters a chaotic environment filled with eccentric characters, each contributing to the show's mediocrity. At the helm is René Ferretti, a disillusioned director who has abandoned artistic integrity in favor of expedient, low-quality productions. René's mantra of shooting scenes "come una merda" encapsulates the show's satirical tone.
