Synopsis
An inter-faith relationship is tested by desire for wealth in drama set in Kolkata
A Hindu girl and Muslim boy start an illicit relationship, and escape their town to be able to pursue their love freely. Living on the streets, they catch sight of a plush armchair in the window of a shop and aspire to own it as a symbol of their love for one another. While it seems far out of their reach in their difficult situation, their persistence and idealization of it tests the limits of their love.
