Actor, director, and screenwriter Dave Franco is known for both a string of supporting roles in major comedies such as “Superbad” (2007), “Warm Bodies” (2013), and “The Lego Movie” (2014) and his appearances in the “Now You See Me” (2013–2025) film series. Franco has starred in both “21 Jump Street” (2012) and “22 Jump Street” (2014) as well as the comedies “Neighbors” (2014) and “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising” (2016). Franco appeared alongside his brother James Franco in “The Disaster Artist” (2017) and made his own screenwriting and directorial debut with “The Rental” (2020), starring his wife and frequent collaborator Alison Brie. The pair co-wrote “Somebody I Used to Know” (2023), with Dave Franco directing, and they reunited onscreen for “Together” (2025), a supernatural horror movie in which they play the lead roles. Franco has lent his voice to animated shows such as “Krapopolis” (2023–2025), created by Dan Harmon, and “Long Story Short” (2025). He has also appeared in multiple episodes of the anthology comedy drama “Easy” (2016–2019).
