By co-creating the seven season show “Workaholics” (2011-2017) for Comedy Central, Kyle Newacheck announced himself as a comedy creator to watch. He simultaneously directed episodes of shows such as “Community” (2012) and “Parks and Recreation” (2012). His directing on the FX hit, “What We Do in the Shadows” (2020–2024) earned him a Primetime Emmy Nomination and further cemented his reputation as a specialist in the genre. Moving into feature-length films with “Game Over, Man!” (2018), Newacheck worked alongside comedy legends Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. “Murder Mystery” (2019) saw him work with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston before being tapped to direct “Happy Gilmore 2” (2025), a sequel to the cult classic.
