Fans of the Marvel-Netflix series will know the actor Rob Morgan for his portrayal of Turk Barrett, who appeared in “Daredevil” (2015–2016), “Luke Cage” (2016–2018), “The Defenders” (2017), “The Punisher" (2017–2019), “Jessica Jones” (2018), and “Iron Fist” (2018). Morgan also appeared in the hit Netflix series “Stranger Things” (2016–2022) before appearing in the main cast of “Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty” (2022–2023). His acting talents on the small screen can be witnessed in “Lawmen: Bass Reeves” (2023) and the unique horror series “Teacup” (2024). Some of his most memorable performances, however, come on the big screen, with his role in “Mudbound” (2017) earning him much praise and his leading role in the movie “Bull” (2019) displaying his acting skills to the fullest. He starred opposite Michael B. Jordan in “Just Mercy” (2019) and appeared in the ensemble cast of Adam McKay’s “Don’t Look Up” (2021). Alongside fellow actor Kingsley Ben-Adir, Rob Morgan leads the cast of “Frank & Louis” (2026), a drama that premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival.
