Thomasin McKenzie gained recognition for her performance in the drama movie “Leave No Trace” (2018), a role she quickly followed up by starring in “The King” (2019) and the Taika Waititi movie “Jojo Rabbit” (2019). Before her next major movie role in the M. Night Shyamalan horror “Old” (2021), she took leading roles in “Lost Girls” (2020) and “The Justice of Bunny King” (2021). McKenzie teamed up with director Edgar Wright for “Last Night in Soho” (2021) and then with filmmaker Jane Campion for the movie “The Power of the Dog” (2021). She starred in a lead role in the BBC miniseries “Life After Life” (2022) and in the dark comedy show “Totally Completely Fine” (2023). McKenzie returned to the big screen by starring in movies such as “Eileen” (2023), “Joy” (2024), “The Testament of Ann Lee” (2025), and “Fackham Hall” (2025).
