Synopsis
Alejandro Lombardo, a successful businessman who returns home after a severe accident, only to discover that he is married to María José, a poor, innocent woman who had been deceived by Alejandro's brother, Bruno. Bruno had used Alejandro's name to marry María José and subsequently attempted to have Alejandro killed, hoping that María José would inherit Alejandro's fortune. However, Alejandro survives and returns, leading to complex entanglements and emotional turmoil.
