River (2011)

River is a short experimental documentary about the Yukon River as flowing against the trends of modern times. It is a poetic investigation of the river as providing a glimpse beyond the veil of time to a world that once was: a river that flows from the future into the past. The film utilizes 16 mm archival footage juxtaposed with new footage shot by the filmmaker. River was originally screened with live music, in cooperation with the Bozzini String Quartet of Montreal. It has now been released with recorded soundtrack.
