Synopsis
The Wizard of Oz frames a green-skinned woman, making her the Wicked Witch of the West
Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) AKA the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch (Ariana Grande) were once university roommates at Shiz University. Despite a rocky start, they ultimately became close friends, with Elphaba fighting for animal rights and showcasing her powerful sorcery while (then known as) Galinda focused on her beauty and love for Prince Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey). They both journey to the Emerald City to meet the Wonderful Wizard of Oz (Jeff Goldblum), only to uncover his dark secret that changes the course of the pair's relationship forever.
