Battle of Britain (1969)

In summer of 1940, Britain faces down the Luftwaffe in World War Two action film

The Battle of France is looking slightly desperate, as forces retreat from the Dunkirk beaches and Germany is pushing Britain to negotiate a peace treaty. The Germans delay invading Britain, though send planes to destroy RAF airfields holding Hurricanes and Spitfires. But, the British embark on a massive operation, training foreigners whose countries are under German occupation and building up their strength. As London burns under heavy bombing, the British forces retaliate with surprising strength.
