Fight Club (1999)

Insomniac and soap salesman form an underground fight club in action film starring Edward Norton, Brad Pitt and Helena Bonham Carter

The Narrator suffers from insomnia, and attends support groups, since hearing others express their vulnerability helps him. He meets Marla, who’s also a fraudulent participant in the groups. Then he befriends Tyler, and they form a fight club in the basement of a bar where men can receive an unconventional form of therapy through fighting one another. But as the club grows and their plans escalate, the Narrator battles Tyler and learns a disturbing truth about him in the process.
