Detective Nick Curran is assigned the case of the killing of Johnny Boz, a rock star murdered during a passionate night of intimacy. In the investigation, Nick crosses paths with Johnny’s girlfriend, Catherine Tramell, a captivating crime novelist who appears to have written a murder scene in one of her books just like the real case, making her a key suspect. But when Nick finds Catherine’s allure too much to handle, the entire investigation is threatened, and the seductive suspect slips out of the police’s grasp.
