Dr. John Dolittle, a reclusive veterinarian and widower who can speak to animals, is forced to abandon his secluded manor after years of isolation to aid the gravely ill Queen Victoria. Accompanied by a host of exotic creatures, he embarks on a voyage to a mythical island in search of a cure that could save her life. But his journey is fraught with peril and wonder, unfolding against a fantastical backdrop. When pirates capture him, time grows short—and it’s uncertain whether he’ll reach Buckingham Palace before it’s too late.
