Nick Bali, also known as ‘The Jealousy Man’ is a private detective investigating a mysterious new case on the Greek island of Crete. Leo and Elias Vardakis are twin brothers who are responsible for much of the trade that occurs on the island. But when Leo’s body is discovered and his death is taken as an accident, his sister-in-law Penelope is suspicious. Everyone in the Vardakis family seems to be hiding something and Nick must be careful as he probes the powerful family in search of a motive.
