Synopsis
Short film exploring child trafficking set in the Philippines
Opening on children rehearsing a dance, the narrator runs through each of the participants in the dance group Fresh Steps. Trixie is an aspiring architect, another, Grace, is shy but kind. There’s Ms Gloria, the teacher, and then there’s Fatima, who was left in an orphanage. But the reasons why they’re all learning dances together unfold to reveal the brutal reality of their existence.
