2080 (2025)

After waking up in the future, 56 years later, a determined Jacob must face personal demons from his past that have found their way into this future. Jacob, a young senior in high school is faced with a midlife crisis after he wakes up in the year '2080'. What he finds in this future, is the same conflict he was fighting back home. In this future, true believers in Christ are persecuted and killed for refusing to take a chip that symbolizes the selling of your soul to the devil. Jacob wrestles with the truth of an all loving God that still judges his people righteously. The idea that you have to repent and turn away from your sins reminds Jacob of his dad who abandoned him at a young age. In the end, Jacob finds his way back to 2025 with a choice. A choice between accepting the truth of God's word and turning away from his sin, or rejecting the call to repentance, putting him on a path to become just like his father.
